Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for new and returning patients, carefully assessing their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop, document, and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of each patient.
• Engage in daily interdisciplinary meetings with fellow specialists to discuss patient progress, ensuring that treatment goals are aligned and strategies are effective.
• Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions focusing on functional recovery, strength-building, balance, and mobility, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Monitor patient progress through ongoing assessments, modifying treatment plans when necessary to improve outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment modalities, self-management techniques, and custom at-home exercise routines to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient progress, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse array of patients at different stages of recovery including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, individuals with chronic pain conditions, and athletes rehabilitating from sports-related injuries. Understanding the varied backgrounds and requirements of each patient allows you to provide tailored care that best meets their recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A valid New Jersey physical therapy license is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Master of Physical Therapy (MPT), or equivalent is preferred.
• A strong collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience working in outpatient rehabilitation settings is preferred.
• New graduates with a strong commitment to continuous learning and patient advocacy are also welcomed to apply, provided they have a solid clinical foundation.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and other clinic management software is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $95,000, dependent upon experience and qualifications, along with potential performance-based incentives. Additional benefits include:
