Work Environment

The position is predominantly onsite at our outpatient office in Belleville, New Jersey, which is equipped with the latest technology and therapeutic equipment to facilitate effective treatment. Our team of healthcare professionals collaborates closely with one another to ensure a supportive and productive working atmosphere. You will enjoy a structured schedule primarily from Monday to Friday, with occasional rotating weekend shifts as needed to accommodate patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at CircuCare Specialists, you will be responsible for the following:

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, establishing treatment goals based on physician directives and patient needs.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment programs that address a wide range of physical impairments and functional limitations.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documenting evaluations, treatment progress, goals, and discharge summaries in a timely manner.
• Supervise and guide Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and support staff in executing treatment plans, ensuring quality care standards are upheld.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with physicians, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists to create and assess cohesive treatment plans.
• Engage in continuous assessment of therapeutic interventions' effectiveness, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize patient health outcomes.
• Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to peers and assist in maintaining a positive team environment that encourages professional growth.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license from the State of New Jersey.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health records and telehealth options.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome fresh graduates to apply, one or more years of experience in a clinical physical therapy setting is preferred. Experience in outpatient care, particularly with orthopedic conditions, will be advantageous. Familiarity with rehabilitation technologies and methodologies is also a plus.
