Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, analyzing their strength, mobility, range of motion, and overall physical function.
• Develop individualized and evidence-based rehabilitation treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, focusing on pain reduction, mobility enhancement, and functional restoration.
• Implement therapeutic interventions including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring alignment with best practices and patient safety.
• Educate and coach patients and their families about rehabilitation protocols and self-management strategies to promote optimal recovery.
• Participate actively in team meetings, contributing to interdisciplinary discussions to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Facilitate clinical teaching and supervision of interns and less experienced staff, fostering an environment of continuous professional growth.
• Prepare and deliver in-service training sessions on relevant topics to enhance staff competencies.
• Collaborate with management to identify and initiate clinical research projects, contributing to the advancement of orthopedic physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with outpatient orthopedic patients who require rehabilitation following surgeries, injuries, or degenerative conditions. Our patient demographic includes individuals recovering from hip and knee replacements, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We are dedicated to providing culturally competent care that meets the varied needs of our diverse community.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Master's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapy license in New Jersey.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Experience working within a rehabilitation center setting.

Compensation and Benefits
