Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist - Orthopedic Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team at Fairview East Healthcare and Behavioral Center, located in Paterson, New Jersey. Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our rehabilitation center, you will work onsite in a dynamic environment alongside a team of skilled professionals, including two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant. Our standard operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing ample opportunities for patient interaction and collaboration with fellow healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' physical therapy needs and establish individualized treatment goals.
• Administer evidence-based physical therapy interventions aimed at optimizing patient mobility, flexibility, and strength.
• Efficiently manage a patient caseload, averaging one patient per hour, while ensuring high-quality care delivery.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans using a variety of treatment modalities and techniques.
• Educate patients on manual therapy techniques and tailored exercise regimens to enhance their recovery process.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, for accurate documentation and tracking of patient progress.
• Monitor treatment outcomes, making necessary adjustments to care plans to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to discuss patient progress, share insights, and coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
• Engage and motivate patients to adhere to their treatment plans, fostering their confidence and ability to achieve personal health goals.
• Document all aspects of patient care and treatment progress diligently to maintain compliance and quality control.

Your expertise will primarily benefit patients within the orthopedic outpatient sector, including individuals recovering from injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and those managing chronic pain. Our diverse patient population relies heavily on our facility for a supportive pathway back to their optimal function, focusing primarily on those with private health insurance.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A spotless professional record with no disciplinary history.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Strong experience in designing and implementing exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR platforms, specifically WebPT, is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
