Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Up And Running Physical Health Therapy in Dumont, New Jersey. This full-time position emphasizes outpatient orthopedic care, requiring a compassionate professional to evaluate, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans that support patient recovery and enhance their overall quality of life. Up And Running Physical Health Therapy is a well-established orthopedic outpatient clinic located in the heart of Dumont, NJ. Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and staffed by a team of experienced healthcare professionals dedicated to supporting our patients' health and wellness goals.

As an onsite Physical Therapist in a vibrant rehabilitation facility, you will work in a collaborative and supportive atmosphere where your contributions are valued. The typical working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess physical impairments and set measurable rehabilitation goals.

Design and implement individualized therapy plans that align with the latest evidence-based practices to enhance patients' functional mobility and strength.

Utilize manual therapy techniques for pain management and improved range of motion, adapting your approach based on each patient's needs and progress.

Document patient interactions and updates in our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring accurate and timely patient records.

Our clinic specializes in treating a diverse population of patients with orthopedic conditions, including postoperative rehabilitation cases and those with chronic pain disorders. Your role will directly impact their rehabilitation journey, guiding them to achieve their health goals.

A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

An active and valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of New Jersey.

Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a thorough understanding of rehabilitation protocols.

Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is strongly preferred.

Experience in treating musculoskeletal injuries, with a focus on post-surgical rehabilitation.

Engagement in continuing education activities related to orthopedic therapy to stay current with best practices in the field.
