Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist, you will work onsite in our rehabilitation facility, which fosters a collaborative atmosphere with fellow medical professionals. Our treatment environment is designed to promote recovery and patient engagement, featuring well-equipped therapy areas for individual and group sessions. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring consistent engagement with patients and coworkers in a steady workflow.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

• Conducting thorough physical assessments and documenting patient evaluations to inform treatment plans.
• Designing and implementing customized rehabilitation strategies tailored to individual patient needs.
• Guiding patients through tailored exercises aimed at improving mobility and strength.
• Applying advanced manual therapy techniques to relieve pain and facilitate functional recovery.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans based on outcome assessments.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients include individuals recovering from various orthopedic injuries, including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. You will work closely with diverse patient demographics, ranging from young athletes to older adults needing post-operative support. Your role is crucial in empowering patients to understand their conditions and actively participate in their recovery process.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A current and valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey without any restrictions.
• At least two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Expert knowledge in manual therapy techniques, demonstrating a hands-on approach to patient care.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) platforms, such as WebPT, enhancing the efficiency of clinical documentation.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum clinical experience required is two years, candidates with specialized training in sports rehabilitation, orthopedic manual therapy, or chronic pain management will stand out. Additional certifications in relevant areas of physical therapy are also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
