Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of patients, taking into account their medical history, current physical abilities, and specific orthopedic concerns.
• Design and implement individualized treatment strategies that may include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities appropriate for each patient's diagnosis.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in patient status and recovery goals.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, exercise protocols, and home exercise programs to reinforce treatment gains.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care plans are developed and followed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from various orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our patients range from active adults to senior individuals seeking to regain strength and mobility. Your expertise will be essential in helping them recover functionally and improve their overall quality of life. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current New Jersey Physical Therapy license in good standing, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in orthopedics or outpatient care.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, with preference given to those familiar with WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with advanced manual therapy techniques and functional movement assessments.
• Previous exposure to interdisciplinary team collaboration, enhancing patient rehabilitation outcomes.
• Engagement in continuing education courses or certifications related to orthopedic physical therapy practices.

Compensation and Benefits
