Work Environment

The position is onsite at our rehabilitation center, where you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team composed of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation aides. The center is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and modalities, fostering an ideal atmosphere for both patient recovery and professional development. You will work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a stable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical conditions and rehabilitation needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing patient mobility, strength, and function.
• Utilize hands-on therapy techniques, including manual therapy, modalities, and therapeutic exercises, to facilitate pain relief and recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about ongoing rehabilitation exercises and lifestyle modifications to maintain improved health.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on outcomes and feedback.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with clinic standards, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As part of our specialized outpatient clinic, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. This diverse patient population includes athletes, active individuals, and elderly clients seeking to regain mobility and improve their quality of life. You will play a pivotal role in guiding them through their rehabilitation journey, encouraging motivation and resilience in overcoming challenges.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or MPT) from an accredited program.
• Current licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a relevant setting, preferably within orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proficient in the use of electronic medical records, experience with WebPT is preferred.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience working in a high-volume outpatient setting is advantageous. Familiarity with various rehabilitation techniques and modalities, such as Pilates and aquatic therapy, is beneficial to enhance our treatment offerings and patient engagement.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
