Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to thoroughly assess patients' physical conditions and functional limitations associated with orthopedic injuries and surgeries.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility, alleviating pain, and improving overall function.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to facilitate recovery.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, effective movement strategies, and tailored home exercise programs to ensure progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, physicians, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure cohesive care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Document and track patient progress systematically, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet individual needs and goals.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism in all patient interactions.

Qualifications

• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is mandatory. A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) is preferred.
• At least two years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred; however, enthusiastic new graduates with relevant clinical experience are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education strategies.
