Work Environment

This is a full-time, onsite position situated in a dynamic rehabilitation facility in Hackensack. You will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to immerse yourself in the daily operational rhythm of our dedicated team and the diverse patient population we cater to. Our facility is designed to create a supportive and nurturing atmosphere that promotes both patient recovery and staff collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities, range of motion, and pain levels, using the latest assessment tools.
• Design and implement evidence-based therapeutic programs aimed at regaining strength and mobility, with a focus on orthopedic conditions like post-operative recovery and sports injuries.
• Collaborate closely with a range of healthcare professionals, including orthopedic surgeons, physicians, and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on injury prevention strategies, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications that promote healing and ongoing wellness.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient progress and therapy interventions, ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse group of patients, from young athletes recovering from injuries to older adults undergoing rehabilitation after surgeries. Our patient-focused philosophy drives us to meet individual needs, whether patients are seeking to regain mobility after an injury or to manage chronic orthopedic conditions effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current and valid New Jersey state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, ideally within orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong analytical, clinical reasoning, and decision-making skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities that help build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in a multidisciplinary team is highly valued. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and current knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation practices will be advantageous. Skills in specific modalities such as manual therapy or sports rehabilitation can set you apart.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, complemented by a robust benefits package that includes:
