Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in an onsite rehabilitation facility that boasts a supportive and team-oriented atmosphere. Our office operates from Monday through Friday, welcoming patients from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing comprehensive physical evaluations for a diverse patient demographic.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized rehabilitation plans that align with specific functional goals.
• Monitor patient progress and modify care plans based on feedback and objective assessment results.
• Collaborate with clinical colleagues to ensure coordinated and integrated care.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention strategies, and recovery processes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and facility protocols.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development by attending workshops and staying abreast of relevant literature.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on outpatient orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and those managing chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence, significantly enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, particularly in outpatient orthopedic settings, is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies and current trends in physical therapy practice.
• Previous experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits
