Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite in a home care setting, allowing you to engage with patients in a familiar environment. Our clinic is designed to support outpatient services, with a focus on hands-on care and personalized therapeutic interventions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, assessing their range of motion, strength, and functional limitations to create tailored treatment plans.
• Implement customized rehabilitation programs utilizing various techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation to aid recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation, injury prevention, and exercises to continue their recovery at home.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring that treatment plans align with overall patient goals.
• Document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment approaches based on their response and evolving needs.
• Maintain compliance with all HIPAA regulations while ensuring accurate clinical records are kept up-to-date.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Our focus is on ensuring that each patient receives the individualized attention and care they need for optimum recovery. You will address a diverse range of age groups, tailoring your approach to accommodate the specific needs of each patient.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, particularly in orthopedic settings.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, and patient education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, emphasizing a patient-focused approach to care.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic practice is highly desirable.
• New graduates with relevant clinical experience are encouraged to apply, particularly those who have completed internships in an orthopedic focus.
