Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical conditions to develop tailored rehabilitation plans.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques aimed at improving mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Monitor and document the progress of patients, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Participate in educational efforts by providing clinical instruction to physical therapy interns and assistants, sharing your expertise and insights.
• Prepare and present at least one in-service training session each year to improve staff knowledge and continuing education.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and solve complex cases, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to patient rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on orthopedic cases, involving patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. You will employ specialized techniques including manual therapy, exercise regimens, and education, with the goal of restoring mobility and functionality while minimizing pain. Your commitment to patient care will help individuals achieve their rehabilitation goals and prevent future injuries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program and an active New Jersey State Physical Therapy license.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy, demonstrating a strong foundation in patient assessment and treatment.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Proficient in documenting patient progress using electronic health records, ensuring compliance and effective communication among the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is preferred, showcasing advanced expertise in this specialty.

Compensation and Benefits
