Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions to develop tailored rehabilitation plans aimed at restoring mobility and enhancing functional capacity.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises, along with advanced rehabilitation modalities to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on recovery strategies, including personalized home exercise programs, modifications for daily activities, and injury prevention techniques to promote long-term well-being.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting treatment plans and modifications based on patient progress and feedback throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development, ensuring the incorporation of the latest research and techniques into daily practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. Our center is committed to creating individualized treatment approaches that consider each patient's unique circumstances, goals, and lifestyle.

Qualifications

• A valid New York State Physical Therapy License is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory. Candidates with a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy will be given preference.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster rapport with patients and team members.
• A strong understanding of physical therapy principles, treatment methodologies, and patient-centered care practices.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient patient documentation.
• Prior engagement in multidisciplinary team environments is a valuable asset.

Compensation and Benefits

In It Together Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
