Work Environment

You will work onsite in our vibrant outpatient facility, where teamwork and collaboration are central to our operations. You'll be treating an average of 7 patients per day in a setting that focuses on achieving optimal outcomes through personalized treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and establish diagnoses based on clinical findings.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices and innovative rehabilitation techniques.
• Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation to assist with patient recovery.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes and engagement.
• Educate patients and their families on the nature of their conditions and the importance of adherence to therapeutic interventions for improved health.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate integrated care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills and stay updated with industry advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with a diverse outpatient population ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation patients to those dealing with chronic pain and mobility issues. Our patient demographic includes adults of all ages, including elderly patients, athletes recovering from injuries, and individuals seeking preventive care. You will tailor treatment approaches to meet varied needs, focusing on empowering patients to regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Physical Therapy license.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a relevant field; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an outpatient setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specialized rehabilitation modalities and techniques such as aquatic therapy or sports rehabilitation is a plus.
• Prior experience using electronic health record systems to document patient care.
• Ability to speak Spanish or another language is highly regarded as we service a multicultural community.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package including a salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, reflective of experience and skills.
