Work Environment

As part of our vibrant rehabilitation center, you will work onsite in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with cutting-edge rehabilitation equipment. The clinic is open Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional limitations to formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Implement targeted rehabilitation techniques and therapeutic exercises tailored to each patient's recovery objectives.
• Utilize advanced modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and manual therapy to enhance recovery and alleviate pain.
• Document patient progress meticulously in our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure continuity of care and compliance with all regulations.
• Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process, effective self-management strategies, and long-term mobility goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to optimize patient outcomes and develop comprehensive treatment approaches.
• Engage in regular professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with outpatient clients ranging from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults experiencing mobility challenges due to chronic conditions. Each day, you will engage with around seven patients, providing personalized attention and adjusting treatment methods to meet their unique needs during their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York.
• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 2 years of outpatient clinical experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Specialized training or certification in orthopedics or sports medicine is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice and the ability to integrate new techniques into treatment plans.
• Experience working in a fast-paced outpatient setting with a high patient volume.

Compensation and Benefits
