Corewell Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our progressive team in Great Neck, New York. In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding patients along their rehabilitation journey, restoring motion, and facilitating optimal functionality. Work Environment

This position is onsite, primarily in our home care setting. As a hands-on physical therapist, you will be the face of our practice for our patients, collaborating in a supportive environment with a small team including two licensed physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and address patient goals and requirements effectively.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention and quality care.
• Deliver treatments that improve mobility and range of motion, focusing on cost-effective, evidence-based strategies.
• Diminish patient reliance on medications and offer alternatives to surgical interventions through targeted rehabilitation techniques.
• Develop and implement tailored care plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities and exercises.
• Design individualized fitness and wellness programs aligned with each patient's specific needs and capabilities.
• Provide motivation and guidance to patients throughout their treatment journey to enhance their functional outcomes.
• Encourage lifestyle changes that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and robust treatment plans.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness, monitor patient progress, and maintain clear, detailed documentation of care services delivered.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Active state license as a Physical Therapist in New York.
• Minimum of one year of experience within an outpatient orthopedic setting preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience in sports medicine and familiarity with a variety of rehabilitation technology and tools are desirable. Compensation and Benefits
