Nestled in the scenic community of Oyster Bay, we pride ourselves on our specialized orthopedic services and a state-of-the-art sports medicine facility. Our dedicated team comprises two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to fostering a supportive environment for both our patients and staff.

Work Environment

Our outpatient office is designed to create a welcoming and efficient environment where patients can feel comfortable as they undergo their rehabilitation journey. You will be working onsite, allowing for direct, hands-on interactions with patients and enabling you to implement treatment plans effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients to identify their individual rehabilitation goals and needs.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and personalized treatment sessions.
• Employ relevant evidence-based techniques within orthopedic outpatient care to enhance patient mobility and reduce pain.
• Develop and execute detailed care plans using a variety of treatment approaches, focusing on achieving optimal outcomes.
• Create and implement customized fitness and wellness programs that target the specific challenges and goals of each patient.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout the treatment process to enhance engagement and promote recovery.
• Document and monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting care plans as necessary based on outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure holistic patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, postoperative patients, and individuals seeking to improve their physical function and prevent future injuries. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the Council on Medical Education.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist, issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Strong foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation, with a minimum of one year of outpatient experience preferred.

Preferred Experience

While a year's experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is mandatory, diverse clinical exposure, particularly in sports medicine, will significantly enhance your candidacy. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices will be beneficial as you develop patient-centered treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you will receive:
