Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify physical limitations and develop customized treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.
• Utilize hands-on therapy techniques and a range of evidence-based modalities, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education to facilitate recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about the recovery process, setting realistic expectations and providing ongoing support throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Regularly evaluate patients' progress and adapt treatment plans as needed to ensure continued improvement toward functional goals.
• Document patient progress, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers in the facility to create integrated care strategies that enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace that meets safety and health standards, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will be working with span a diverse range of ages and backgrounds, each coping with various physical injuries or conditions. You will play a crucial role in assisting those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New York, demonstrating a commitment to upholding professional standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field. A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy will be viewed favorably.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple patient cases while maintaining timely documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting is preferred.
• Experience utilizing various therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
