Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans to address individual patient needs and goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, modalities, and exercise prescription to maximize patient outcomes.
• Track and document patient progress through electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize care delivery and patient satisfaction.
• Provide education to patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and wellness strategies to promote long-term health benefits.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse outpatient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. Your ability to tailor treatment strategies to each patient's condition will be essential in fostering effective recovery pathways.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York State.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, with preference given to candidates holding a Master's or Doctorate in the field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in an outpatient setting, demonstrating proficiency in providing quality therapy services.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
