Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions to develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.
• Implement hands-on therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to promote optimal recovery and functionality.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, maintaining detailed records of treatment and patient responses.
• Educate patients and their families on effective pain management strategies, mobility improvement techniques, and preventive measures for long-term wellness.
• Engage in team meetings to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient base includes individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions requiring rehabilitation. You will work primarily with adults but may also interact with pediatric cases as needed. Your role will involve addressing diverse conditions, such as post-operative rehabilitation, orthopedic issues, chronic pain syndromes, and geriatric rehabilitation goals, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in New York State is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; however, a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred and could enhance your candidacy.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of prior experience working in an outpatient setting is preferred, allowing for quicker adaptation to our dynamic work environment.
• Experience with various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based rehabilitation techniques is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive salaries ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
