Work Environment

This role is primarily based onsite at our outpatient office, where you will engage directly with patients in a well-equipped facility designed for various rehabilitation therapies. You will work a consistent schedule from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Our office is designed to facilitate a high patient volume, with an average of 6 to 7 patients a day, providing ample opportunity for meaningful interaction and impactful treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, identifying specific rehabilitation needs and establishing tailor-made treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility and enhancing functional capabilities.
• Utilize diverse hands-on manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced rehabilitation modalities to facilitate optimal healing outcomes for patients.
• Educate patients and their families about recovery strategies, injury prevention techniques, and long-term physical health maintenance, empowering them to take charge of their wellness journey.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and surgeons, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care strategies that address all aspects of patient health.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, leveraging electronic health record systems to track patient progress accurately and adjust treatment plans as required based on evolving needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population spanning various age groups and backgrounds, each with unique rehabilitation requirements. Our patients present with a range of conditions that may include orthopedic injuries, post-surgical recovery, neurological disorders, and other ailments requiring physical rehabilitation. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that each patient receives personalized care that meets their individual goals and enhances their functional abilities.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in New York is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field is required, with advanced degrees (Master's or Doctorate) preferred.
• Strong understanding of physical therapy principles, techniques, and evidence-based practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate and connect with patients effectively.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of professional experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on outpatient rehabilitation being highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems and treatment protocols commonly used in outpatient therapy.
• Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, which is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
