Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical health, incorporating medical history, orthopedic assessments, and functional movement analysis to identify their rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, customizing approaches based on each patient's assessment to improve mobility, alleviate pain, and restore physical function effectively.
• Utilize hands-on manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities supported by the latest research to facilitate patient recovery.
• Educate patients on injury prevention strategies, self-care techniques, and exercises to maintain mobility and overall wellness.
• Regularly document patient progress, adapt treatment plans as required, and communicate changes with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with orthopedic specialists, pain management professionals, and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. We cater to diverse demographics, providing care to people of all ages, from young athletes to older adults needing rehabilitation following surgery. The primary goal is to enhance their quality of life through hands-on interventions and supportive educational methods.

Qualifications

• A valid New York State Physical Therapist license.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; however, a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy will be highly valued.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred but not required—enthusiastic new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to streamline documentation processes.
• Knowledge of evidence-based standards and methodologies pertinent to orthopedic therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits plan that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, and paid time off.
