Work Environment

Our clinic is a bright and welcoming outpatient office located in Astoria, NY, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and therapeutic equipment designed to support advanced rehabilitative care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical health status and rehabilitation needs, utilizing clinical assessments and patient history.
• Develop and execute tailored treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments that aim to improve mobility, alleviate pain, and restore optimal function in patients.
• Employ manual therapy techniques, functional exercises, and other evidence-based interventions to promote recovery and enhance mobility.
• Educate patients on best practices for injury prevention, techniques for maintaining mobility, and self-care strategies to foster long-term health.
• Continuously document patient progress, assess the effectiveness of treatment plans, and make adjustments as necessary to facilitate optimal recovery outcomes.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including orthopedic specialists and other healthcare professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York State.

Preferred Experience

While we prefer candidates with at least 2 years of experience in outpatient care, we welcome new graduates who are enthusiastic and eager to learn. Demonstrated experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, as well as familiarity with current physical therapy methodologies, will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
