Work Environment

Located in Union City, our outpatient office provides a friendly and supportive atmosphere where collaboration is paramount. Our typical work schedule runs Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify and address patients' specific goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's unique condition.
• Administer cost-effective treatments that enhance patients' mobility and reduce dependence on medications or surgical interventions.
• Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust care plans accordingly based on patient progress.
• Foster relationships with patients providing motivation and support throughout their recovery process.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions in accordance with industry standards.
• Engage in ongoing collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary role will involve working with a diverse patient population experiencing orthopedic issues, including but not limited to post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, and injury rehabilitation. You will play a critical part in guiding patients through exercises designed to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination while motivating them to adhere to healthy lifestyle choices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with modern therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation technologies.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate documentation and patient tracking.
• Previous experience managing chronic pain syndromes and rehabilitative care specific to orthopedic conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 110,000 to 130,000 annually, complemented by performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
