Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical capabilities and limitations, gathering comprehensive histories that inform tailored treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy regimens that encompass manual therapy techniques, corrective exercises, and rehabilitation protocols.
• Utilize advanced modalities and therapeutic interventions to enhance patient mobility and reduce pain, explaining the rationale and benefits to patients.
• Track patient progress meticulously, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary in response to recovery milestones.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and preventative measures, empowering them to take an active role in their rehabilitation.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and patient interactions in compliance with facility policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate holistic patient care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development initiatives to stay current with industry trends and techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with outpatient clients, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and neurological conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid New York Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, demonstrating successful patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
