Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess mobility, strength, and function to provide informed treatment recommendations.
• Create, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices, integrating techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and advanced modalities.
• Utilize various rehabilitation technologies and equipment to aid in the recovery process, ensuring patients have access to the most effective tools available.
• Document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal results.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on managing conditions and utilizing assistive devices effectively to enhance self-care and independence.
• Engage in continual professional development activities, including workshops and conferences, to stay informed on the latest advancements in physical therapy.
• Foster a collaborative environment by communicating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages, guiding them through their rehabilitation journeys and helping them achieve functional mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE-accredited program is required.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy in New York is mandatory.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for patient interactions and documentation.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and other clinical software is highly desirable.
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced clinical settings.

Preferred Experience

• While prior work experience is not mandatory, candidates with previous clinical experience in orthopedic rehabilitation will be given preference.
• Experience with specialized modalities and treatment techniques relevant to orthopedic conditions is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes the following:
