Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Great Neck, NY. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients referred by physicians, understanding their unique needs and conditions to devise effective treatment plans.
• Implement and oversee a variety of therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices to manage a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Demonstrate unwavering commitment to patient care by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring an engaging and supportive atmosphere.
• Collaboratively work with a multidisciplinary team to maximize treatment outcomes, sharing insights and adjusting care strategies as needed based on patient progress.
• Provide therapy sessions both in-clinic and at patients' homes as necessary, employing techniques that align with the physicians' plan of care to achieve functional improvements.
• Offer education and training to patients and their families to enhance understanding of treatment goals and promote independent management of their health.
• Meet and exceed operational goals related to patient utilization, documentation, and overall effectiveness in therapy delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is diverse, encompassing individuals across various age groups and backgrounds with differing medical conditions. This role provides the opportunity to work with patients recovering from surgeries, athletic injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. As a Physical Therapist at Acts Intuitively Therapy, you will play a pivotal role in helping patients regain their mobility and independence, guiding them through all phases of their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• A valid State License to practice physical therapy in New York.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and healthcare providers.
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and familiar with word processing tools.
• A commitment to building strong relationships with patients to exceed their rehabilitation goals and enhance their overall experience.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a clinical setting, with a preference for specialties such as orthopedic, pediatric, or sports medicine physical therapy.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive, patient-centered care environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
