Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to formulate personalized treatment plans aimed at improving physical function and overall wellness.
• Implement evidence-based treatment strategies by providing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities that align with the interdisciplinary care team and physician's directives.
• Document patient progress meticulously to meet healthcare regulations and optimize outcomes, utilizing electronic health records for efficient communication.
• Engage patients actively in their treatment processes, demonstrating effective communication skills to educate them and their families on home exercise programs and rehabilitation goals.
• Assess and adjust treatment plans based on patient feedback to maximize success and ensure adherence to set objectives.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote health and wellness, emphasizing the importance of physical therapy in injury prevention and recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New York.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.

Compensation and Benefits
