Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physical conditions, functional abilities, and rehabilitative needs following physician referrals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate a wide range of therapeutic modalities tailored to each patient's needs, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine rehabilitation.
• Implement and adjust treatment programs, employing techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to facilitate recovery and improve function.
• Demonstrate exemplary customer service by building rapport with patients and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during treatment sessions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to achieve optimal patient outcomes and enhance the interdisciplinary approach to care.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers on home exercises and self-management techniques to optimize recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes to meet compliance standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Meet minimum utilization goals and support organizational objectives through active participation in departmental meetings and continuous professional development.

The physical therapist will work with a diverse clientele, including patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and pediatric conditions. Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Valid state license for Physical Therapy practice in New York.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

• Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate patients toward achieving their individual rehabilitation goals.

Compensation and Benefits
