Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Ramsey, NJ. The clinic has been designed to create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for our patients, equipped with modern therapy tools and technology. You will be part of a dedicated team of healthcare professionals working closely together to provide comprehensive rehabilitative services. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions through assessments, tests, and medical history reviews to develop accurate diagnoses and establish treatment goals.
• Design, implement, and modify individualized therapy plans that cater to the specific needs of each patient, including setting measurable short-term and long-term recovery objectives.
• Guide patients in executing prescribed exercises aimed at enhancing their movement, flexibility, and strength through direct supervision and constructive feedback.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques such as joint mobilization and soft tissue manipulation to alleviate pain, restore function, and facilitate efficient recovery.
• Document all patient care, treatment progress, and outcomes using electronic medical record (EMR) systems like WebPT, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare standards.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding injury prevention, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients dealing with a variety of orthopedic injuries and conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, fractures, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Our clinic sees a diverse population, including active adults, athletes, and seniors, allowing you to apply your expertise in different therapeutic contexts and improve the lived experiences of your patients.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, free from restrictions, is mandatory to ensure compliance with state regulations.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a physical therapy setting with a focus on orthopedic patient care.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and an in-depth understanding of human anatomy and biomechanics.
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) platforms, preferably WebPT, to document patient care efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an outpatient orthopedic clinic is highly desirable and will be considered an asset.
• Additional certifications in areas such as sports rehabilitation, manual therapy, or orthopedics will set candidates apart.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualification.
