Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Position

Greathouse Therapy & Balance Centers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to take on a full-time role in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in Ramsey, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a clinical setting and a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional care to a diverse patient population.

Work Environment

This role is designed to be performed onsite at our rehabilitation center, where you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. The center is equipped with cutting-edge technology and has dedicated spaces for individual and group therapy sessions. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a strong work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Greathouse Therapy & Balance Centers, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Performing thorough musculoskeletal assessments to evaluate patients' strengths, flexibility, and overall range of motion.
• Developing and tailoring rehabilitation programs that cater to post-operative recovery, injury prevention, and effective pain management strategies.
• Implementing evidence-based techniques including joint mobilization, soft tissue manipulation, and myofascial release to enhance patient function.
• Providing educational guidance to patients regarding postural alignment, ergonomic practices, and efficient movement to minimize the risk of re-injury.
• Documenting comprehensive patient records and progress notes effectively using our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
• Engaging in weekly case review meetings with colleagues to analyze complex cases and optimize treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will be working with include a wide array of individuals, from professional and amateur athletes to adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries or injuries. Your therapeutic interventions will directly impact their return to daily activities, work, and recreational pursuits, significantly enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Possession of a National Provider Identifier is required.
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation is required, preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate:

• A strong familiarity with treating musculoskeletal conditions and implementing evidence-based therapeutic exercises;
• Exceptional communication skills, particularly in patient education and interaction;
• Proven ability to function as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Compensation and Benefits

At Greathouse Therapy & Balance Centers, we offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, based on your experience and skill set. Additional benefits include:
