Work Environment

Our outpatient facility offers a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where teamwork and collaboration among professionals flourish. The physical therapy team works closely with orthopedic physicians, physician assistants, and a range of medical staff to ensure that all aspects of a patient's care are synchronized. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgical cases, and chronic pain syndromes.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment protocols based on each patient's unique needs and rehabilitation goals, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Employ various modalities, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training strategies, to improve patients' mobility and strength.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, proper movement mechanics, and home exercise regimens to promote long-term health and wellness.
• Collaborate actively with interdisciplinary teams to refine treatment plans and optimize patient recovery outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to ensure accurate tracking of outcomes and adjustments in treatment.
• Stay informed about and integrate the latest advancements in orthopedic rehabilitation and physical therapy into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our office, you will primarily treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal health. You will engage with a diverse clientele ranging from athletic individuals to older adults, each requiring tailored approaches to their rehabilitation, helping them achieve their personal health goals.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license issued by the state of New Jersey.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Strong ability to develop and implement customized treatment plans that address specific patient needs and goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and interact effectually with healthcare teams.
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care that encourages healing and empowerment.

Preferred Experience
