Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our outpatient office, where you will engage with a variety of patients in a supportive and interdisciplinary environment. Our clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work schedule. With a patient volume averaging between 5 to 7 patients per day, you will have ample opportunity to build meaningful relationships and personalize care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive orthopedic assessments to identify patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the use of modalities to enhance patient recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Coordinate care with physicians, surgeons, and occupational therapists to ensure consistent and cohesive treatment for patients.
• Participate in regular case reviews, team meetings, and collaborative discussions aimed at refining patient care strategies and maximizing outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on effective body mechanics, injury prevention techniques, and appropriate at-home exercises to encourage continued progress.
• Document all patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes meticulously, adhering to state regulations and facility standards.
• Stay informed and engaged with the latest advancements in orthopedic physical therapy and best practices within the multidisciplinary treatment setting.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will focus primarily on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your ability to assess and adapt treatment plans based on individual progress will contribute to their overall well-being and quality of life. Additionally, you will foster an environment of empathy and understanding, which is crucial in motivating patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Must possess physical therapy licensure in good standing in the State of New Jersey.
• A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic or musculoskeletal rehabilitation preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team is highly valued, as it enhances the coordination of care and treatment effectiveness.
• Additional certifications in orthopedic specialties, such as Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) or manual therapy techniques, are advantageous.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy methods and creating therapeutic exercise programs based on patient evaluations.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, vision, and dental plans.
