Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work in an onsite outpatient office setting, ensuring direct interaction with patients during their treatment sessions. We operate from Monday to Friday, with hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical status, diagnostic needs, and rehabilitation goals.
• Design and implement structured, evidence-based rehabilitation programs that address specific patient conditions and improve their functional capabilities.
• Utilize hands-on therapy techniques, such as manual therapy and modalities, to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Work closely with patients to guide them through personalized therapeutic exercises aimed at building strength, flexibility, and endurance.
• Continuously monitor and assess patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, to track improvements and compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves orthopedic patients recovering from various conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain disorders. Our approach emphasizes patient-centered care, focusing on empowering individuals to actively participate in their recovery journey. You'll work with diverse age groups, allowing for a rich clinical experience and the opportunity to tailor interventions to suit different needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting, particularly within orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, with prior experience in WebPT being a plus.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with advanced certifications in orthopedic physical therapy or specialized training in manual therapy techniques will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with contemporary therapeutic interventions and a keen interest in patient education and empowerment are also desirable attributes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
