Work Environment

The physical therapy position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, in a nurturing environment designed for patient success. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, with a schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a work-life balance for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess their physical status, movement capabilities, and pain levels.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans, employing evidence-based practices to cater to individual patient needs.
• Guide patients through a variety of therapeutic exercises focused on enhancing strength, flexibility, and overall functional ability.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques, ensuring optimal treatment to promote recovery and alleviate discomfort.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and modify therapy sessions to meet evolving recovery goals.
• Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes using EMR systems like WebPT, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a broad spectrum of patients, ranging from young athletes recovering from sports-related injuries to older adults managing chronic pain conditions. Each patient presents unique challenges, providing you with the opportunity to apply your skills effectively while delivering compassionate care tailored to diverse needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• An active Physical Therapy license in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting, preferably with orthopedic patients.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques, with a passion for improving patient functional outcomes.
• Experience and proficiency in using electronic medical records platforms like WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic clinic.

Compensation and Benefits
