Work Environment

Our practice is situated in an inviting outpatient office where patient comfort is prioritized. The fast-paced setting encourages continuous interaction with patients, enabling therapists to apply innovative techniques and collaborate with various healthcare professionals, including physicians and nursing staff. This full-time role typically follows a schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing staff to maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a difference in patient lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients, assessing their physical capabilities and limitations in relation to orthopedic conditions.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that align with each patient's unique needs, incorporating specific goals based on medical history and functional outcomes.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to enhance recovery efforts.
• Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care, ensuring patients receive holistic treatment and support.
• Actively educate patients and caregivers about injury prevention strategies, rehabilitation protocols, and at-home exercise regimens to facilitate ongoing recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, traumatic injuries, and chronic conditions affecting joint and muscle function. Your role will be instrumental in empowering these patients to regain mobility, strength, and independence, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Education: A Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Licensure: Candidates must hold an active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits
