Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Woodcliff Lake. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to enjoy a balanced professional and personal life. You will typically manage a patient volume of 5 to 7 patients daily, enabling you to dedicate meaningful time to each individual. Our center provides a supportive atmosphere where teamwork is prioritized, and continuous learning is encouraged.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive orthopedic assessments to accurately identify patient needs, followed by the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and various modalities to facilitate recovery.

• Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals including physicians and occupational therapists to devise coordinated patient care plans.

• Participate actively in case reviews, interdisciplinary meetings, and discussions focused on patient outcomes and treatment effectiveness.

• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, proper body mechanics, and relevant at-home exercises to support ongoing recovery.

• Document all patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment results, ensuring compliance with New Jersey state regulations and facility protocols.

• Stay abreast of advancements within orthopedic physical therapy to integrate best practices into your daily treatments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients recovering from orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries. You will work with individuals through various stages of recovery, providing individualized care to address each person's specific condition and rehabilitation goals. Your role will contribute significantly to improving their quality of life and functional abilities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist with current, good standing licensure in the State of New Jersey.

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; Doctorate or Master's degree preferred.

• Strong knowledge base and proficiency in orthopedic therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in orthopedic or musculoskeletal rehabilitation; a background in working alongside a multidisciplinary team is highly preferred.

• Additional certifications in orthopedic specialties (e.g., OCS) or manual therapy are advantageous.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.

• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise design.

Compensation and Benefits
