Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of each patient through a detailed review of medical history and specific assessments to determine their individual treatment plans.
• Communicating evaluation findings and proposed treatment plans clearly to patients and their families, while involving them in the goal-setting process to enhance engagement and motivation.
• Implementing treatment protocols effectively, adhering to both evidence-based practices and adapting treatments based on patient progress and changing healthcare standards.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, documenting any significant changes in a patient's condition that require modifications in their treatment strategy.
• Completing timely discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring thorough documentation of patient care activities, which include evaluations, treatment progress notes, interim summaries, and discharge summaries.
• Demonstrating effective time management to maintain productivity and manage patient schedules efficiently.
• Engaging in hospital and community outreach programs to promote physical therapy and improve access to care.
• Contributing to departmental goals and objectives while ensuring compliance with governmental regulations and accreditation standards.
• Actively pursuing continuing education for personal professional development and serving as a mentor for students and new staff when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient clinic serves a diverse patient population consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and neurological disorders. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid DPT license to practice in the state of New Jersey.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
