Work Environment

The position is based in our outpatient office, providing a vibrant and dynamic workplace designed to enhance teamwork and patient engagement. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing their medical history, performing physical assessments, and establishing clear treatment documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding assessment findings and collaborate on setting realistic and achievable therapy goals.
• Implement individualized treatment plans with proficiency, adapting protocols based on the patient's response and current healthcare standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care; document any changes in patient conditions that require adjustments to their treatment plans.
• Carry out discharge planning in a timely manner, ensuring patients understand their follow-up care, and accurately documenting all patient interactions in our electronic health records.
• Manage time efficiently to meet productivity expectations, maintaining accurate schedules and contributing to marketing efforts that promote our services within the community.
• Engage in team discussions to remove barriers to patient access to care and participate actively in ongoing departmental initiatives and goal setting.
• Pursue opportunities for professional growth through continuing education, and serve as a clinical mentor for students, fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population, ranging from post-operative rehabilitation patients to those managing chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in New Jersey.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy role is strongly preferred, although candidates with less experience may also be considered depending on their passion and willingness to learn.
• Experience in outpatient settings is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
