Work Environment

This position is onsite in our outpatient clinic, where our team collaborates in a supportive and proactive environment. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that works intimately together to develop comprehensive rehabilitation strategies and implement effective treatment protocols. Regular working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess each patient's condition and develop an individualized care plan that aligns with their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Provide hands-on treatment utilizing various therapeutic modalities that promote healing and enhanced function.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload to ensure thorough attention and quality care for each client.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to guide therapy sessions, employing techniques that enhance motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Design and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs that address the specific needs of each patient.
• Motivate and educate patients on their rehabilitation journey, fostering a supportive atmosphere that encourages progress.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring continuity of care and sharing insights to improve treatment outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evaluations of effectiveness.
• Document all services provided accurately using EMR software, particularly Web PT, to maintain comprehensive patient records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse outpatient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Working closely with patients of various ages and backgrounds, you will be instrumental in helping them regain their mobility and improve their overall quality of life through tailored rehabilitation plans.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with no history of disciplinary action or board proceedings.
• Exceptional proficiency in manual therapy modalities, demonstrating versatility in treatment strategies.
• Strong ability to design and implement effective exercise programs based on patient needs.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) software, with a strong preference for experience with Web PT.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current physical therapy techniques, supported by recent research and practices.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.
• Experience with sports rehabilitation and a strong knowledge of functional movement would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with evidence-based best practices in physical therapy and a track record of successful patient outcomes are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include health insurance, retirement plan options, paid time off, and continuing education allowances to support your professional growth.
