Our collaborative team consists of experienced physical therapists and support staff who prioritize exceptional patient care and outcomes.

Work Environment

This position is integral to our onsite home care setting, which focuses on delivering personalized therapy to our patients in a welcoming environment. You will work alongside two skilled physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), creating a dynamic and supportive atmosphere that promotes teamwork and open communication. Our schedule is structured to foster work-life balance, with typical hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals and individualized requirements.
• Manage a manageable caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused, high-quality treatment sessions.
• Implement evidence-based treatment techniques to optimize patients' range of motion and mobility, emphasizing cost-effective interventions.
• Explore and promote alternative therapies to minimize reliance on pharmaceuticals and avoid unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that blend various treatment modalities tailored specifically to each patient's needs and progress.
• Design and promote personalized fitness and wellness programs aimed at enhancing overall physical health.
• Provide motivated support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation process.
• Educate and inspire patients to adopt healthy lifestyle practices that improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
• Document clinical care accurately and thoroughly, maintaining clear communication regarding patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client focus is primarily on individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. As a Physical Therapist at Bon Secours Therapy Center, you will work with a diverse patient population, tailoring your treatment and intervention strategies to meet their specific needs and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Hold a valid professional license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey with a clean disciplinary record.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques with exceptional skills in developing and implementing effective exercise regimens.
• Experience with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to accurately track patient care and outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• A proven track record of working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to design personalized treatment plans and fitness programs for diverse patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this full-time role ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience.
