Work Environment

This role is set in our welcoming outpatient office located in Irvington, New Jersey. The facility is designed to facilitate collaborative work, with specialty treatment rooms, exercise areas, and patient engagement spaces that promote comfort and healing. As a Physical Therapist at Trigger Physical Therapy, you will work primarily during business hours, Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to establish individualized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Administer hands-on physical therapy and rehabilitation techniques, focusing on manual therapy approaches to maximize patient mobility.
• Manage a steady caseload, averaging one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives optimal attention and quality care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to document treatment outcomes and progress, maintaining accurate and compliant records in line with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and specialists to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Regularly assess treatment efficacy, adjusting methods as necessary to respond to patient progress and feedback.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, home exercises, and injury prevention strategies.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

Compensation and Benefits
