Work Environment

The role of a Physical Therapist at The Health Connection is performed in a welcoming outpatient office located in Elizabethport, NJ. You will enjoy a structured work week primarily from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities through various evaluation techniques, including mobility assessments and strength tests.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs and rehabilitation goals of each patient, continually adjusting strategies based on their progress.
• Utilize hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities, such as ultrasound and electrotherapy, to alleviate pain, enhance mobility, and restore function.
• Educate patients about effective body mechanics, proper posture, and strategies for injury prevention, empowering them with knowledge that extends beyond therapy sessions.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, ensuring all treatment interventions are accurately recorded in electronic health records, and communicate findings with other healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians and occupational therapists, to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to patient needs.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay abreast of the latest therapeutic techniques and technologies in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at The Health Connection, you will work with a diverse patient population encompassing individuals recovering from sports injuries, surgical procedures, spinal issues, and those with chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
