Flexible Muscle Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our Rehabilitation Center located in Avenel, New Jersey. Work Environment

You will work primarily in our cutting-edge Rehabilitation Center, designed to foster movement, recovery, and wellness. With an onsite work arrangement, you will interact closely with patients in a supportive and encouraging environment. Our typical work schedule runs from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, providing a structured routine that allows for effective patient care while supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized care to each patient by assessing their unique needs, establishing treatment goals, and implementing individualized rehabilitation plans.
• Manage a balanced patient caseload, ensuring that adequate time is dedicated to evaluating and addressing each individual's concerns.
• Employ advanced techniques in orthopedic outpatient care, utilizing hands-on therapies and exercises to rehabilitate injuries and improve functional mobility.
• Encourage non-surgical treatment approaches to minimize reliance on medications, promoting natural healing and recovery processes.
• Develop and continuously update comprehensive care plans that include a variety of therapeutic interventions such as exercises, manual therapy, and education.
• Design personalized fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's recovery objectives and lifestyle.
• Motivate patients during therapy sessions, offering support and encouragement to foster a positive mindset toward recovery.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, adjusting them as necessary based on the patient's progress and feedback.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment services provided to facilitate coordinated care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse outpatient population, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical patients, and individuals managing chronic pain. Each patient requires tailored approaches that consider their specific conditions, goals, and lifestyles. Your expertise will enable you to address a wide range of orthopedic and musculoskeletal concerns, enhancing their recovery and return to daily activities.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and clean Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, devoid of any sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, for maintaining accurate documentation.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development, staying current with the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient setting with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Expertise in treating sports-related injuries and designing sport-specific rehabilitation programs.
• Strong interpersonal skills, allowing for effective communication with patients and interdisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 yearly, commensurate with experience.
