Flexible Muscle Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Highland Park, New Jersey. This full-time position will primarily focus on providing outpatient physical therapy services within the home care setting. You will work closely with patients to restore mobility, enhance their quality of life, and empower them to achieve their therapeutic goals.

Work Environment

This position requires a hands-on approach as you will primarily work onsite in patients' homes, offering a comfortable and familiar environment for rehabilitation. Our facilities are equipped with the latest technology and treatment tools to assist in delivering quality care. Treatment sessions take place from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and limitations to design individualized treatment plans.
• Develop and implement tailored physical therapy programs that emphasize non-surgical approaches and utilize cost-effective treatments.
• Utilize a variety of manual therapy techniques to address patients' unique pain and mobility issues effectively.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as required to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about exercises, lifestyle modifications, and self-care strategies to promote ongoing wellness.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive and integrative patient care.
• Utilize EMR software, particularly WebPT, for accurate record keeping and documentation of the services provided.
• Continuously stay updated with the latest physical therapy research and techniques to enhance professional skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. The focus on outpatient care means you will play a critical role in helping ambulatory patients restore functionality and independence in their daily activities.

Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active, clean Physical Therapist license without any sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy modalities essential for outpatient care.
• A proven track record of developing successful exercise programs tailored to individual needs.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient or home care setting is preferred.
• Experience using EMR systems such as WebPT for patient documentation is a plus.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based interventions and a commitment to lifelong learning in the field of physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
