Work Environment

This position is offered in an onsite capacity, allowing our Physical Therapist to engage directly with patients in their home environments, significantly enhancing the therapeutic relationship and speed of recovery. The role involves daily visits to various patient homes, creating a flexible yet structured work environment centered around patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement individualized physical therapy treatments focusing on pain relief, muscle function restoration, and enhancing patients' overall performance based on established care plans.
• Collaborate closely with Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and supporting their professional development through supervision and guidance.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional capacities, employing diagnostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, joint, and functional capabilities.
• Assess and recommend modifications to patients' home environments to promote independence and ensure effective rehabilitation.
• Administer therapeutic massage, traction, and other physical treatments as prescribed by physicians to facilitate recovery.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team during case conferences, ensuring cohesive planning and evaluation of treatment programs.
• Prepare, maintain, and submit detailed clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, and progress notes, ensuring accurate documentation for compliance and quality assurance.
• Educate patients and their families on physical therapy techniques, device usage, and overall rehabilitation strategies.
• Act as a resource for community health resources and support systems to aid patients in their recovery journey.
• Complete all documentation and clinical orders on time as per company policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes a diverse mix of individuals ranging from post-surgical patients to those dealing with chronic conditions necessitating specialized rehabilitation under professional guidance. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in good standing.
• Active CPR certification, ensuring readiness in emergency situations.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance to facilitate travel for home visits.
• A strong commitment to patient care excellence and a proven ability to work collaboratively with both health practitioners and family members.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist in either an acute care or home care setting, which provides a solid foundation for the nuances of this role.
• Experience with the latest physical therapy methodologies and tools that enhance patient care outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
