Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite, focusing on providing services within patients' homes in Metuchen, New Jersey. This allows for an intimate understanding of our patients' environments, helping to create personalized rehabilitation programs that can significantly impact their recovery. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with a standard 40-hour week, ensuring a work-life balance while delivering essential therapeutic services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine their physical therapy needs and establish personalized treatment plans.
• Implement and adjust treatment programs based on patient progress, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to facilitate optimal outcomes.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions directly in patients' homes, employing various modalities and techniques consistent with the prescribed plan of care.
• Engage in active communication with patients and their caregivers, ensuring they understand the treatment process and encouraging their active participation in their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and enhance overall treatment efficacy.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress and compliance with regulatory standards while meeting utilization goals to support organizational success.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clinical work will encompass a broad variety of specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Must possess a valid State License as a Doctor of Physical Therapist (DPT) as required by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting, showcasing a proven background in patient care and rehabilitation practices.
• Current CPR certification to ensure safety and preparedness in patient interactions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to foster clear interactions with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience is mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with experience in home health services or community-based rehabilitation programs. Familiarity with outcome-based metrics and methodologies will further enhance your fit for this role. Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, reflecting the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
