Work Environment

This position involves home care services, where you will travel to patients' residences within the Matawan area. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans based on physician referrals and individual patient needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions in patients' homes, utilizing effective procedures and techniques aimed at improving functional capabilities as guided by the physician's plan.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, sharing insights with colleagues to enhance overall treatment effectiveness and patient satisfaction.
• Provide exceptional customer service, fostering an environment of trust and support that encourages patients throughout their recovery process.
• Regularly assess patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal health outcomes.
• Educate and empower patients and their caregivers, providing practical training and resources to facilitate recovery and wellbeing.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and meet business objectives, actively participating in performance metrics and utilization goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist with Amiral Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient demographic, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, managing pediatric care, addressing neurological conditions, and rehabilitating sports-related injuries. This variety enriches your experience and allows for the application of a broad set of therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient, supporting their journey towards recovery.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from a nationally accredited program.
• Valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience, showcasing a strong foundation in patient care.
• Current certification in CPR to ensure patient safety.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in digital documentation and tele-health tools.
• Proven ability to establish rapport with patients and families, driving engagement to exceed functional rehabilitation goals.
• A collaborative mindset that thrives in a team-oriented setting, positively connecting with colleagues and community partners.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience is required, candidates with additional specialties in pediatric therapy, neurological rehabilitation, or sports medicine will be highly regarded. Familiarity with home care settings and a background in evidence-based practices are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
