Work Environment

This position requires onsite work in various home environments, allowing you to directly engage with patients as you assess and implement their therapy routines. You will conduct evaluations in clients' homes, giving you insights into their physical environments and enhancing the effectiveness of your treatment plans. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Symbria, your responsibilities will include:

• Directing patient-centered physical therapy treatments that aim to prevent disability, relieve pain, and restore or improve muscle function based on individualized care plans.
• Overseeing the implementation of therapy plans by Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring high standards of care delivery.
• Conducting evaluations of clients' functional levels through diagnostic tests and assessments related to muscle and joint capabilities.
• Assessing home environments for rehabilitation needs, offering recommendations to enhance client independence.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and physical agents, while guiding clients through treatments and functional activities.
• Evaluating, fitting, and adjusting orthotic and prosthetic devices, collaborating with clients' physicians for modifications.
• Maintaining thorough clinical documentation, including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client care plans, updates, and overall treatment strategies.
• Educating clients and their families on therapy programs and home exercise regimens.
• Completing timely and accurate documentation for clinical and payroll needs according to branch policy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves adults and seniors requiring rehabilitation services due to injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. You'll work closely with clients who benefit from personalized interventions to maintain and enhance their mobility, functionality, and overall quality of life. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid PT license in good standing in the State of New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license.
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and high standards of patient care.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience
